Not just views. Not just likes. Hooks that attract the right people— the ones who become buyers. Here's the complete methodology behind every hook we generate.
Get people to literally stop scrolling and pay attention. This is the baseline — if your hook doesn't do this, nothing else matters.
Get the right people to stop — people who have a higher likelihood of becoming a buyer. The quality of person you attract depends entirely on the emotion you trigger.
Every hook we generate is designed to trigger one of these four emotions. These aren't random — they're the specific psychological triggers that attract people who are likely to become buyers.
Every generated hook falls into one of these eight categories. Each generation uses different types to give you variety and maximize your options.
Every hook is checked against these seven rules before it's delivered. These aren't guidelines — they're non-negotiable standards.
Every word must speak volumes. No vague or fluffy wording. Cut everything that doesn't directly catch attention or make the point.
"In this video, I'm going to show you some of the ways that you can potentially start making money online"
"I made $47K in 30 days. Here's the trick."
The hook must give away either the context of the content, or a specific payoff the viewer will get.
"You need to watch this"
"Give me 59 seconds and I'll give you my formula for closing a deal every time."
After the hook, the audience's brain should NOT know what happens next. There should be no direct or predictable payoff.
"6 years ago my wife & I cheated on our jobs and started freelancing"
"6 years ago my wife & I cheated…"
Make them feel heard. Articulate the hook in a way where the viewer feels like you're speaking directly to them.
"Business owners should consider these strategies"
"Hard truth, you're not making as much money as you could because you're trying to do everything yourself."
Never sound salesy or preachy. The best hooks come across as informative/documenting. It should feel like talking to a friend on FaceTime.
"Discover the revolutionary method for wealth creation"
"7 years ago I made a 'stupid' financial decision…"
Use words that serve as pattern interrupts — words that feel "out of context" or extreme, causing people to re-read or take interest.
Write from "how I did X" perspective, NOT "how you can do Y". People don't want to be told what to do — they want to learn what YOU did.
"How you can build a 6-figure business"
"How I built a 6-figure business while working a 9-5"
When crafting hooks, we identify which leverage point makes the topic most compelling. Sometimes we tie a small topic into a larger topic that people already care about.
Income, revenue, savings — specific dollar amounts create instant credibility.
Cars, mansions, watches — tangible proof of success that triggers desire.
Achieving something at a young age or very fast — creates "if they can, I can" energy.
A unique, unexpected way of achieving something — the brain craves novelty.
Tying into current events, celebrity moves, or trends everyone is talking about.
Compare to something unexpected. Bridge the familiar and the unknown.
Reference people/brands everyone knows. “Shaq didn't become a millionaire because of basketball.”
Use a reference to underline relevance, giving people a strong reason to listen.
“If I woke up tomorrow with $0, no connections, 0 followers…” — create situations the audience puts themselves in.
Go against the grain. “F*ck all your followers” — say what others won't.
All of this methodology is baked into every hook we create. Pick your format, enter your topic, and let the system do the work.
